Employee/Family Assistance Program (EAP/EFAP)
If your employer has an EAP/EFAP service provided then you and eligible family members may be approved for counselling at no cost to you. Your employer pays for it as part of your employee or union member benefits package. I am a registered associate with the following EAP/EFAP providers: Morneau Sheppel, Arete Human Resources, and FSEAP. Please check with your EAP/EFAP plan for possible coverage to work with me.
Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
I am an approved CVAP Counsellor. If you have been a victim or witness of a crime in BC, you may be eligible to receive counselling sessions at no cost to you. The CVAP pays for counselling services for victims of crime, their close family members, and some witnesses. I will complete the necessary paperwork, which will need to be approved before the start of counselling. Once you qualify for assistance through CVAP, billing will be directly handled for you.
I am a service provider for the Rehabilitation Department for ICBC. If you have been injured in an automobile accident please contact ICBC for possible coverage of counselling costs. Once written documentation of approved sessions are given to you, I can facilitate the rest of the process.
